Interim Director of Facilities required by a public sector organisation based in Berkshire. Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Interim Director of Facilities will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of all soft FM services including cleaning, security, reception and portering. These services are delivered through a largely in-house, therefore the post holder will need strong leadership and motivational skills, as well as the ability to manage soft FM contracts.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of providing ‘best in class’ facilities management services across a comparable high-public footfall and customer facing portfolio. You will be an adept contract manager with strong commercial acumen. This is a diverse multi-site portfolio which will provide a really varied assignment.
This role will suit professionals with a high level of personal credibility and demonstrable experience in embedding a culture of exceptional delivery, at both an operational and strategic level. The post holder will require strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of a large public sector organisation.
This is an interim appointment that is expected to for approximately 6 months whilst they make a permanent appointment.
