My client, a leading engineering consultancy are currently seeking a Bid Manager to join their team.
About the role
Working within a large bid team, you will be responsible for managing bids through the entire bid lifecycle. Duties include – owning the bid plan and taking overall responsibility for producing a compelling proposal, on time and within the agreed budget, identifying the resources required to undertake bid preparation, defining and agreeing a bid budget and schedule, scheduling review meetings, designing and developing the content plan, working with the bid director to establish a win strategy, coordinating and supporting any customer relationship and stakeholder management activities and contributing to continuous improvement of the divisions work winning capabilities.
My client is looking for an experienced senior bid coordinator / bid manager who can think outside the box. They are interested in applicants from all sectors who can bring new, fresh and innovative ideas to the team. As the business is growing, they want someone who can easily adapt to change, and who can manage a busy and varied workload. You must have experience of successfully delivering bids from early inception through to lessons learnt, have experience of structured bid processes (e.g. Shipley) and have excellent communication skills. A commercial awareness / understanding will be beneficial. My client is open to location, however you must be willing to commute to Bristol as and when required.
