We are currently working alongside an educational institution in South East London who are looking for an Interim Head of Facilities. This institution has a diverse estates portfolio with breath-taking heritage campuses, containing 16 listed buildings with special architectural or historic interest.
Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Interim Head of Facilities will be responsible for the leadership, management and motivation of a multi-disciplinary team of hard and soft FM professionals, in order to deliver high levels of customer service across each of the three campuses. The associated campus management services include all aspects of maintenance and engineering in addition to cleaning, caretaking, security, grounds, car parking, post and transport, sports and recreation.
The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of providing ‘best in class’ facilities management services across a comparable high-public footfall and customer facing portfolio. You will be an adept contract manager with strong commercial acumen and a track record of managing an effective supply chain.
This role will suit professionals with a high level of personal credibility and demonstrable experience in embedding a culture of exceptional delivery, at both an operational and strategic level. A proven track record in successfully managing change and transformation will be essential including devising and implementing innovative delivery models.
This is an interim appointment that is expected to for a minimum of 6 months.
