When you register with us the first thing we will do is arrange to meet you.
If we are going to help you make the right career choice and find you a life enhancing move we need to get to know each other (we also don't believe you should trust your CV or your career with someone you haven't met and don't know). If necessary we will be flexible. We will arrange come to you and meet out of hours. It's an important step and we don't cut corners.
Your contact will always be an experienced Recruiter. Our people work in two person teams, an experienced Recruiter, who will work with you to find the perfect fit, and a Resourcer who acts as a support providing briefing packs, client information and dealing with any interview arrangements.
The important thing is that you know where you stand and how the process works and to help here we have a Candidate Charter >> that tells you what we do and the guarantees we give to you.
The process from there goes through three stages
When we meet we will be aiming to get a good understanding of you, what you have done to date in career terms and importantly what you are looking for in your next move.
Looking for a career move is a perfect opportunity to re-focus and re-set your career goals.
You will find that whilst you have a number of criteria for a new role you will generally have three "Key Career Motivators" that are the most important to you. It is at this stage that we will help you to identify and prioritise these. Once we have done this it makes the search process a whole lot easier as we will test a new company against these using our MRG Matching Matrix. This tells you where and how a potential employer matches against your key motivators and if not why. This forms the basis of an ideal prompt for discussion at interview.
Unfortunately in today's world we also need to do some of the paperwork trail and will need to prove who you are and your eligibility to work in the UK. Please don't blame us we are only the messenger here. We will talk you through the process and it's relatively simple (if a little painful).
If you have applied to an advertised assignment we will then give you a full brief and agree an action plan.
We will also discuss any other suitable assignments and other clients that we feel may match your Key Career Motivators. Depending on the answers we will then arrange for you to see one or more clients. Please remember we will not put you forward to any assignments or forward your details to a client before we come back and confirm your interest with you.
It may be that you have not seen exactly what you are looking for but have come to the conclusion that your career lies elsewhere. In this case once we have been through the registration stage we will set about finding you a move that ticks your boxes. We will put together a shortlist of potential employers based on our knowledge and understanding and then approach them on your behalf.
Patience is the watchword here. It may be that we strike right first time. It does happen but it doesn't happen all the time. There is a learning process and also a waiting process for the right thing to come at the right time. What you do know is that we will keep you informed and up to date at all times and we will carry on until we get it right.
At this stage we are on hand to help you make the right choice and negotiate the best deal.
We can counsel on package and resignation techniques and help during the early days.
Our position here is that we will get involved as much as is needed to make the process work.
To start the ball rolling you have a number of options
