A leading housebuilder is looking to recruit an experienced Strategic Land Manager to cover the Midlands.
About the Company:
Our client is one of the UK’s leading privately-owned housebuilders. Their homes have established a reputation for innovative design and specification and they operate in Scotland, the North East of England, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
About the Role:
The Midlands region produces c700 units a year from a patch covering the East & West Midlands, and down as far as the Northern Home Counties. Reporting to the Regional Land Director, you will be responsible for securing strategic land options and planning to meet the regions long term land requirements.
The have a strong reputation for the design and final specification of their homes, reflected in their average selling price of £350,000. This in turn influences the type and location of sites they are interested in purchasing.
About the Person:
This is an ideal position for someone who is currently in a similar Strategic Land role or a Planning Manager looking to progress to a Strategic position. Ideally, you will have a strong track-record of agreeing long term land options and purchasing strategic sites, as well as securing planning consent.
What’s in it for you?
The successful candidate can expect a salary in the range of £60,000 - £65,000 plus up to 25% bonus, car allowance healthcare, and pension.
