We are seeking to make a key senior appointment to the role of Director of Estate Development. In this newly created role, the postholder leads on the transformation of The Manchester College’s and UCEN Manchester’s physical environment through a £170m capital development programme resulting in the creation of a purpose-built campus in the centre of Manchester and significant investment on other retained sites, whilst deriving the best possible value from the College’s surplus property assets.

We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing estates consolidation and development programmes across large-scale, diverse and complex property portfolios for industry-leading organisations. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role calls for an individual who is adept at providing leadership at the wider strategic level whilst having a proven track record of delivering complex mixed-use development projects in excess of £50m in value.
