MRG are supporting one the of the UK’s premier civil engineering and construction management organisation. The client organisation is a leading Main Contractor who has been delivering some of the world’s largest and most complex projects for over 100 years. Their current portfolio of projects includes major highway alterations, rail and Crossrail civil and station upgrades and large energy from waste plants

Due to continued business growth, they are actively searching for a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to deliver temporary works design solutions, technical advice and engineering support across HS2

The successful Senior Temporary Works Engineer will have experience in a Temporary Works Design

environment and will be responsible for the development of both temporary and permanent design

solutions on a major London project. Additionally, you will be adept at ensuring that each design

solution is safe, buildable and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Developing design solutions;

• Reviewing and checking specifications and designs;

• Efficient management of the design process, ensuring technical compliance and delivered to programme and budget;

• Developing a culture of excellence within the Team – and company as a whole;

• Exploring new and innovative techniques to add value;

• Leading in the development and implementation of best practice and innovation;

• Leading by example in safe working practices throughout both design and construction teams;

• Implementing Group SHE policy and procedures, safe design principles and all legal

requirements.

Essential Criteria

• A relevant Degree;

• Chartered Engineer Status (MICE / MIStructE);

• CSCS accredited.
