Job Description

Northvale Construction are a specialist structural refurbishment projects with fit out capabilities. Founded in 2008, they are a business looking to expand their £1m to £5m contract offering and work within a number of sectors including commercial, education, retail and high end residential. Growth has been organic and significant resulting in back-to-back Virgin Fasttrack 100 awards proving the business is expanding with sustained and at considerable growth levels. A key competitive advantage of Northvale Construction is a direct labour force with no mark-up or indeed sub-contract package making their business both rigid and sustainable. With a turnover of £14 million, they are looking to expand to £25 million by March 2020.With expansion as key, Northvale Construction are looking to hire an ambitious, dynamic individual to assist the managing director with their growth plans. To achieve £25 million turnover by March 2020 they are looking to target larger contracts at the £2m-£5 million mark specifically of a 'cut and carve' nature within the sectors aforementioned.

The role will involve attracting new clients via networking at industry leading events, prospecting telephone calls and improving the marketing collateral of the business. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To target projects ranging from £1 million to £5 million
  • To target the contracts within the cut and carve section of fit-out
  • Business Areas to target are as follows:
    • High End Residential
    • Apartment Schemes
    • Commercial
    • Education
    • Retail
  • Work on attracting clients to larger opportunities between £5 - £10 million
  • Developing rapport with clients with new clients through:
    • Networking
    • Cold Calling
    • Conferences and Events
    • Marketing
  • Setting up meetings with key decision makers
  • Working on the USP's for the business and the marketing collateral required
  • Developing brand awareness in particular within the PQS/PM space
  • Weekly/monthly reports to the MD, ensuring accurate projections and pipeline
  • Organised tracking process for leads and putting into place a CRM system
  • Managing and owning the bids process to ensure all PQQ's are completed and fulfilled to the highest possible standards

Education/Qualifcations

  • Degree Educated preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Sales and marketing experience in the construction industry
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
