The Practice is continuing to enjoy increasing workload from key clients and has recently been commissioned on a number of exciting projects including several schemes in the higher education sector and is therefore seeking to make the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor to manage the delivery of these projects. Key aspects of the role will involve the project management, contract administration and cost management of complex refurbishment schemes including maintenance projects through to larger scale development projects.
The successful candidate will have gained experience in a quantity surveying role preferably with experience in the £250k to £10m contract range. You will have gained experience in a consultancy environment and will have experience and knowledge of JCT forms of contract. Experience of working on refurbishment projects in a surveying, contract administration or project management role in the education or comparable sectors would be advantageous.
