One of the UK's leading and most well-respected Specialist Internal Building Contractors. Based in London near Dartford, the business has been delivering the very best in bespoke solutions for over 20 years – and serve both Private and Public sector clients across multiple markets, including Office & Commercial, Public Sector, Residential and more.

They are now in the market for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can join the business and immediately begin to deliver the current and future pipelines they have in this very busy year.

About The Role

  • You will primarily be site based involving a number of projects located around the London and south east of the UK;
  • Managing all commercial aspects of the project, reporting directly to the commercial director;
  • Producing monthly valuations and applications;
  • Managing monthly commercial reporting;
  • All aspects relating to bulk material procurement;
  • Sub-contract procurement;
  • Managing 'variation to contract' accounts;
  • Producing & managing direct labour payments.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management, including direct contact with clients;
  • Ability to work to programmes and deadlines, and be flexible to adapt to change;
  • Ability to read and understand drawings;
  • Experience in managing direct and sub-contract labour;
  • Sound technical building knowledge;
  • Computer literacy in most Microsoft programmes, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
