Job Description

Do you live in the South and bored of the commute into Central London? Are you looking to deliver a long-term project closer to home? If so, we are working with a Consultancy, who is in Partnership with a Developer on a major town centre regeneration scheme. The project valued in excess of 400m consists of additional retail space to house 2 new anchor stores, car park extensions, a new build residential and new build hotel with conference facilities as well as a public plaza. Given the extent of the development, they are looking for two Project Managers to work with the Developers on a secondment basis to ensure the projects are completed.

Working on a variety of projects relating to the retail regeneration aspect of the project, you may be involved in managing the addition to new decks to the existing car park, refurbishment of existing stores, the delivery of the public plazas or a medical centre. There is also the expectation that you assist the other project managers when required.

As Project Development Manager you will be expected to have a mature head, be able to work in a highly political and sensitive environment as well as ensuring the projects are delivered to a high technical standard.

A track record in delivering projects of a similar nature and scale is essential - either mixed use regeneration with a bias towards retail. You are expected to be technically capable to deliver the projects, but who also has a high level of stakeholder engagement and prior experience of working with the community as well as tenant consultation.
