A privately owned, mid-sized residential development business are seeking to appoint a Development Manager to join their growing business based in the West End.
This relatively new, innovative, privately run development business has successfully completed a number of residential schemes across the South of England and have very good pipeline of future projects. This role offers the opportunity to work for a fast growing business, working only with 'best in class' individuals on a day to day basis.
Reporting directly to the owners, the successful Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing existing development schemes that are at various stages of the cycle through to completion, as well as overseeing future schemes from planning to completion or 'cradle to grave'. Also encompassing a project management capacity, this individual will manage the main contracts and ensure on time and on cost project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering mid-sized residential developments from conception through to completion. You will be chartered (MRICS) through a General Practice, Quantity Surveying or Project Management route and have very strong commercial acumen.
The successful applicant can expect a base salary of between £65,000-75,000 p.a. plus a carry on each individual project that will increase take home pay significantly. As the first dedicated member of the in-house development team, this role represents a great opportunity to spearhead a fast growing businesses' development team into the foreseeable future. The role is based in London but will offer workplace flexibility as most of the development schemes are outside of the capital.
