They have invested across their learning spaces and recently added an entirely new science centre with 7 new state of the art laboratories.
They are seeking to appoint a Facilities Business Partner for their Hillingdon Campus. This is an exciting vacancy that will underpin the operational delivery of the estate and facilities at a historic campus. You will lead the on-site delivery team in the strategic direction and implementation of best practices. You would lead the preparation, prioritisation, co-ordination and delivery of assigned projects and programmes across all aspects of planned works, strategic maintenance and minor works. You will be the point of contact between the central facilities department and school in order to champion providing a world class learning environment.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrable experience of leading an estate across a comparable diverse portfolio and be qualified in a relevant built environment discipline. You will be a strong communicator with extensive experience in leading a ‘best in class’ customer facing team of both directly employed and contracted staff. Adept change management and business transformation experience in a similar collaborative environment is essential. Our client is an education institution in West London who are seeking a Facilities Manager to manage their in-house facilities department. Reporting to the Head of Facilities you would lead and manage the operational day to day delivery of all Facilities Management Services including maintenance (planned and reactive), cleaning, security, caretaking, waste management, transport and post.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
The successful post holder will possess a significant background in leading the delivery of hard and soft services contracts across a diverse operation (mixture of heritage, grade listed and new build properties) with a focus on delivering high levels of customer service. In addition to developed leadership ability within a comparable collegial and collaborative environment you will possess strong commercial and contract management acumen.
