A London based venue are currently seeking an Interim Project Manager for about 9 months to programme a range of upgrade works for elements of their property portfolio.

Reporting to the Projects Director you will be planning a range of refurbishment works to hospitality suits, shops, and concessions. This is a high end venue who are seeking a high specification finish to the works in a tight timeline whilst appreciating that they still need value for money.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Planning and budgeting a programme of works for a specific time period. Contract Administration, and negotiation with consultants and contractors Management of the appointed consultants and contractors both on site and contractually to ensure best service to the end users.
  • Acting as client representative and point of contact on all appointed schemes continuous liaison with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are satisfied with the work of the development department.
  • Commercial and programme management of concurrently running projects

You will have:

  • You must have experience of project and account management of projects on a comparable scale to those listed above from inception to completion.
  • Experience of working in a venue client side role such as sporting, music, museum, or convention centre type organisation.
  • Have experience as a Project Manager on building services and fabric projects including refurbishments, alterations, fit out and renovation.
  • Will be experience in delivering project management services in a complex environment, for example on behalf of public sector or corporate organisation.
  • An understanding of contact management standard forms of contact and procurement options is essential as well as possessing a strong hands-on approach, with excellent contractor management skills coupled with client facing tact and diplomacy.
  • Preferably possessing a relevant degree and a professional membership
