A Bid Writer/Coordinator is now required to join a growing main contractor in the Aylesford area in Kent. The sectors covered include healthcare, education, prestige buildings and commercial. You will have at least 2 plus years writing and coordination experience within the construction industry and have a good project management understanding of the bidding process.
You will report to the commercial director and contribute towards bid win themes, content of marketing collateral, story boarding and graphic content in line with the individual client requirements thus an understanding of InDesign would be highly advantageous but not essential. The work winning team is very busy so you will need to be able to work well under pressure and prioritise your work load when deadlines are pending. Previous exposure to filling out PQQ’s, ITT’s and management of the company CRM system will also be required as will strong IT skills which will include the general Microsoft suite and Visio.
