An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced bidding professional to join one of the UK's leading engineering and construction company that provide innovative engineering solutions nationally. The company employs over 2,500 staff across the country within several business units that operate in the rail, highways, airport, marine, energy, water and environmental infrastructure sectors, offering expertise to a range of projects with contract values up to £200 million

Due to increased workload within the Work Winning Team, an Assistant Proposals Manager is required to identify, prepare and deliver winning tenders by supporting the Civil Engineering Director and Business Development Team. The Assistant Proposals Manager’s key responsibilities will include improving and building relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities through trade press, OJEU and other media sources, supporting the proposals team in design, completion and submission of PQQ and ITTs.

To carry out the Assistant Proposal Manager position you will need previous experience in a similar position, preferably in the civil engineering or construction sector. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of coordinating multiple tasks across different business sectors and Joint Venture partners.
