The Management Recruitment Group has been retained by a notable University based in the West Midlands to source an Interim Project Architect paying £225 - £250 PAYE per day + Holiday Pay.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary estates team the Project Architect will be a key member of the University’s Estates and Academic Environment Directorate. You will be responsible for developing, designing and managing a diverse range of estate development projects across the campus including refurbishment, alteration, fit out and new build schemes. Key responsibilities will include brief development, feasibility and option appraisal, design, design management and project management of projects typically ranging from £500k to £20m in value.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience in a project architect role with responsibility for developing, designing and managing new build, adaptation and refurbishment building projects, preferably on comparable property types to those found across the University’s estate portfolio. You will have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and will have gained experience of working with large complex organisations with a broad range of stakeholder groups. It is anticipated that you will possess a relevant architecture related qualification.
