A large international client of mine is seeking to appoint an Interim Bid Writer to join their team in London for 6 months. This is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge of all aspects of the bid process from concept to completion. There may also be an option to secure a permanent role after the fixed term period.
About the role
With the support of the team, your knowledge of the bid process will be developed from start to finish focussing on bid content, PQQ’s, Proposals and tender documentation. You will be exposed to the research, design, collation and submission aspects of the bidding process and trained in each area. As with most bid roles, strong project management skills are key to a successful bid so timekeeping and organisational skills are essential.
My client is looking for a degree educated, passionate writer who is eager to develop their career within bids. Holding a degree within Journalism / English Literature or something writing orientated would be a huge advantage. A working knowledge of InDesign is essential. Applicants must be flexible with working hours as this role may involve long hours to meet tight deadlines. Some previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
What’s in it for you?
On top of the salary, my client can offer you ongoing support, training and development as well as clear progression opportunities.
