The Management Recruitment Group has been retained by a leading University based in the Midlands to recruit an Interim Programme Director for a minimum of 12 months on either a fixed term contract or daily rate basis.
Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Programme Director will lead on the monitoring and reporting across the developmental stages of an innovative joint venture project that will see the creation of a large-scale, mixed-use academic building. Particular work strands include financial and contractual management, brief development, specification development and design development.
Credible candidates will have a proven track record of overseeing large-scale development projects in a client side or client’s consultant role at a senior level. You will have a commercial focus, and will be adept a monitoring and reporting on projects during the formative phases to ensure that quality, financial and programme targets are established. Experience of having worked on development projects within the higher education sector and/or with third party developers would be particularly advantageous as would experience of PMO type reporting.
The role is available on a 12 month fixed-term contract basis at a salary level of up to £80,000 however a daily rate engagement may also be considered. There is the potential on flexibility of work pattern/number of days worked per week.
