Our client is a privately owned, multi-disciplinary contractor, with over 60 years’ experience across public and private sectors. It provides “total solution services” across a selection of sectors, including building and construction, civil engineering and rail. Most recently, they have won major sports and events projects, including one of the Grand Prix circuits.
The main duties in the role would include but are not limited to:
Support on the writing of PQQs
Managing and assisting in the writing of pre-qualification questionnaires, expressions of interest to clients, tenders, responses to clarification questions, post-tender responses and any other documents relating to new opportunities
Proof reading and quality assurance of all writing as required
Analysing client requirements for assigned tenders and communicating with the bid team
Writing up and editing all technical sections based on information provided by subject matter experts
As the successful candidate you will: have the following:
preferably be degree qualified
have 2-3 years’ experience of working in the construction or civils industry
have a working knowledge of technical bid abbreviations and construction terminology
have good communication, be enthusiastic, experience of client facing, resilient, team working, excellent organisation and self-reliance;
have the ability to carry out a range of administrative duties with minimum supervision
